The new public library building in Newcastle is finally open to the community after three long years of construction delays. I went there this morning to check out their historical fiction section and find a quiet place to read away from my noisy roommates. A couple of university students sitting at the next table were whispering about The Star Casino while working on their group assignments. Having such a modern study space is definitely a massive upgrade for the local AU student community.
