We are launching a small startup and are wondering whether we should look for local programmers right away or whether it would be better to hire a nearshore team for the MVP. We want the best balance between price and quality.

We had the same situation, and local developers were too expensive. As a result, we are working through nCube, they selected a nearshore team from Costa Rica for our stack. This turned out to be convenient for the MVP — there is no need to hire employees, and you can quickly change the team composition. If the start-up is in its early stages, this is a normal option.
